EFFECTIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN OIL & GAS INDUSTRY

Dear colleagues!

II International Scientific-Practical Conference “Effective Project Management in Oil & Gas Industry” (EPMI - 2010), hosted by Gazprom VNIIGAZ, Gazprom pererabotka and Gazprom transgaz Ukhta and supported by Gazprom, will be held on September 21-24, 2010 in the branch of Gazprom VNIIGAZ in the town of Ukhta. The event is arranged to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of the Ukhta branch.

Recent scientific investigations and achievements in implementation of integrated oil and gas programs, hydrocarbon transmission and offshore gas production will be on the agenda of the conference. The conference will summarize the experience of successful project management in the leading global oil and gas companies, address challenges of managerial decision-making and ways of responding to them on the example of such major and long-term projects as East Program, Shtokman, Yamal.

The conference program includes the thematic guided tours of Ukhta, visit to the object of oil and gas complex.

Abstract submission

Abstracts shall be submitted by August 20, 2010 for consideration by the Program Committee. The abstracts shall briefly summarize the content of the paper. The abstract size shall not exceed 1800 symbols (1 page of A4 size) in English and Russian languages, including the indication of authors, name and address of a company and contact person. Abstracts shall be submitted in Microsoft Word format, margins: 20 mm on the left, 20 mm on the right, 20 mm at the top and bottom. Font – Arial, 15 pts.; line spacing – single. UDC indication is obligatory.

Registration form is available on VNIIGAZ web-site in MS Word. Please, fill in the Form and return it by e-mail. Upon receipt of your form, invoice for payment of your registration fee will be sent to you. As soon as your payment is received, a confirmation message will be e-mailed to you.

Registration fee (VAT incl.) – Rub. 28 000.*

*Registration fee includes the fare of charter flight en-route Moscow – Ukhta – Moscow: - Rub. 38 000.
